WHO ARE WE
Aivitel Ltd is a modern and fast developing Bulgarian company, established in the beginning of 2010.
Our company is the official representative of several of the largest international media groups and represents more than 30% of the television channels distributed on the territory of Bulgaria.
Our team has more than 100 years experience in media business in Bulgaria.
WHAT WE DO
We provide B2B distribution via cable, DTH and mobile operators. Since 2017 we also provide B2C distribution of the content to the end customers worldwide via different platforms.
We have extensive experience in distributing television content with more than 2000 hours of programming and choosing among over 600 titles from around the world.
We create websites and applications for our partners, and we take care of administering their pages in social networks.
We participate in the creation and launch of local channels such as MovieStar.
We offer technical support for TV channels such as satellite downlinks, playout services, transcoding in MPEG2/4 and HLS, IP distribution of TV channels on the territory of Bulgaria, Europe and the world over IP through our own CDN network.
We take care of adapting your EPG – from translation to distribution to operators, EPG platforms, websites and print editions.

Hypertranslator
Project No BG16RFPR001-1.001-0343-C01 “Development of an innovation – Hypertranslator – a platform for automated translation of audio and video streams”, co-financed by the European Union under the Programme “Competitiveness and Innovation in Enterprises” 2021–2027.
Beneficiary: Aivitel Ltd (formerly Virgin Group Bulgaria Ltd).
Total value: BGN 400,000.00, of which BGN 168,000 European and BGN 72,000 national co-financing. Start: 07.03.2025. End: 07.09.2026.
Technological modernisation
Project No BG-RRP-3.004-0854-C01 “Technological modernisation in the enterprise” under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, financed by the European Union – NextGenerationEU.
Final recipient: Aivitel Ltd (formerly Virgin Group Bulgaria Ltd).
Total value: BGN 359,800, of which BGN 179,900 is grant funding.
Completed projects
Project No BG16RFOP002-2.002-0241-C01 “Elements of Success” under Operational Programme “Innovation and Competitiveness” 2014–2020, co-financed by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund. Period: 06.03.2017 – 06.03.2018.
CERTIFICATES
The company operates certified management systems:
- ISO 9001 – quality management system;
- ISO 27001 – information security management system;
- ISO 14001 – environmental management system;
- Certified WIDEVINE implementation partner.
The certificates were issued to the company under its former name, Virgin Group Bulgaria Ltd, and remain in force after the renaming.
